It’s such a wonderful thing to be recommended by other photographers. Having those relationships within the industry really helps find those perfect couples that are made for you, and you for them!
Stephanie and David reached out to a good friend of mine about two months ago desperately in search of a photographer for their gorgeous day in Door County. My friend was booked and she sent over and CC me in the email stating, “I am SO sorry I am booked! But I want to refer someone I trust and that I know will take care of you on your perfect day!” Okay, pause right there, and shout out to sweet Christy Janeczko Photography. That was one of the kindest things I could have read! So I took it over from there and Stephanie and I started talking. She is a GEM! Oh, my soul, I knew from the first email I couldn’t wait to work with her! She told me about her beautiful wedding in Bailey’s Harbor and that they were just having a very intimate affair. I’ve been dying of excitement building up to the 14th of September!
Sarah and I started the drive up to Door County and it was seriously a perfect day. I mean beautiful blue skies and just no wind. It was absolutely perfect. We got there and started scoping out the place! Oh my goodness there were literally so many places to choose from for photos! Gordon’s Lodge truly is a beautiful venue!
I went to the girl’s house where they were getting ready and ya’ll Stephanie greeted me with a HUG! Seriously, it made my day! I mean this was the first time I had met her and she gave me that big southern hug like I always do! Love it! She just was thanking me for being there and we all mentioned how perfect this day would be! The day went by SO smooth. Perfect Weather, perfect bridal party…. everything! It was such an honor to be a part of their day. Stephanie and David are such genuine, kind people that truly deserve the BEST life has to offer them!
