It was over a year ago that I met Megan for the first time. Her sister Katelyn was one of my brides and we met at this wedding! Little did I know that on Labor day of 2018, Trevor would go on to propose, and within literally hours of him proposing, Megan would write to me and say, “Hi!! I’m Megan! What dates are you available and when can I book you? We just got engaged tonight!!” I was shocked and honored!!! Within the next year, three of her other besties would get married and we would take an honorary Ashlea Snell Bride photo and we would all hug and be so so excited for the next best friend’s wedding!
Megan’s wedding was so special to me for many reasons. It truly is amazing to get to know a family so well, literally be invited to go and watch Avengers with them, and just grab coffee and prep for her wedding! Megan is such a kind person just like the other girls that she is friends with. But, what was so special was showing up at the same venue her sister got married at, and just literally as each bridesmaid, or family member came in, they just embraced me in their arms and It is literally like this overwhelming trust, and love that they show to me that is so special. Megan and Trevor are so down to earth and so incredibly caring people and it was just seriously an honor to be a part of their day! The rain definitely didn’t stop us from getting incredible portraits at the small little in Dale, Wisconsin and we just got to enjoy the time together and relax and let Megan and Trevor soak up being married!!
You two, I am SO happy for you guys. I can’t thank you enough for giving me the honor of photographing your day. Its never something I can take lightly!! Love you two!!!
