Almost two years ago I sat down with sweet Corey and Taylor and talked about their wedding day and the perfect vision they had. For one, they told me they were planning on having their wedding at the Paine Art Center and in general I almost died!
These two met at UW Oshkosh, they both ran on the track and field team! They started dating Taylor’s Sophmore year of college and every summer they would go to Corey’s Family cottage up in Northern Wisconsin for the last week of July! Corey’s family usually went every single year ever since he was born and it is one of his favorite places in the entire world! Taylor starting tagging along when they started dating and she mentioned how much fun she had!!
Every vacation Taylor went on with them, she and Corey would wake up super early one of those days to watch the sunrise together. The morning they had chosen this specific trip, they woke up and it was foggy and cloudy. Taylor wasn’t really for getting out of bed but Corey told her just to trust him.
They both walked outside and he walked her to the front of the cottage where there was a trail of candles and rose petals and he walked her all the way to more candles that spelled out “forever?” With a heart and he asked her to marry him!!! She was so surprised!
To say the least this describes Corey and Taylor ever so perfectly. Corey truly adores Taylor and they are both the best of friends! The day of their wedding I know, was everything they could have wanted and more. The day was a perfect 70 degrees summer day and the sun and clouds lined themselves up perfectly. Their bridal party was for sure, one of my favorite bridal parties I have ever worked with and I was just so thrilled and honored to be a part!!
Congratulations Taylor and Corey! I know your life together will be full of amazing adventures and so much joy!
