September 1st started out with a forecast of straight rain. Like all day. I prepared my gear and 10 umbrellas, a rain coat and even my black boots for walking around after the rain. I decided last second to check the weather, literally like we left at 10am and at 955 I changed into a lighter cooler dress and my Chacos! Oh and I ever so glad I did because today ended up being SO beautiful. It went from 100% chance of rain to 0%. (Wisconsin weather am I right?!) The moment we got to this farm out in Shawano our heart just came out of our chests. Elijah’s grandfather allowed Hannah and Elijah to fix up his GORGEOUS barn and have their wedding at it. Okay, if you’re looking for a gorgeous barn check then out! They are slowly starting to open it up as a wedding venue! Seriously check this place out because it’s perfect. I walked into the room the girls were getting married and Hannah was just glowing! She said she was a little nervous but within minutes of putting her dress on, she just started to say she felt so ready and excited. We put her dress on, and her mom cried a few tears and it was so beautiful. We got her all ready, grabbed her flowers and went to do her first look with Elijah! This time was SO precious between both of them. They just smiled and hugged and just soaked up this time! They took about 10 minutes to go – relax and refresh before photos. THIS is why I love first looks! They got to enjoy these few minutes all by themselves. We did bride and groom photos and bridal party photos and just had so much fun prior to the ceremony! The ceremony started and I can’t even begin to explain how beautiful this was. There were over 300 people there to soak up and enjoy this day with them. Hannah and Elijah showed such an act humility and washed each others feet. It was so precious. They are such a humble and LOVING couple. They also did a beautiful knot tying ceremony representing that their love is between God, Elijah and Hannah. Being a three way tie. So so beautiful. This day couldn’t have gone by more smooth. Hannah and Elijah I wish you two the BEST in life. You two are so kind, so humble and loving. You deserve the best. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your day!!
