Three years ago I spoke with Danielle for the first time. We both talked for like… almost two hours haha! She is one of the most incredible women to know and I was seriously looking forward to photographing their wedding day SO much down in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin! We kept up on instagram and I admired her dedication to Steve, being a teacher during COVID, being a small business owner and a dog mom ALL at the same time. WHOO! She does A LOT! I told you she’s incredible. haha!
Fast forward to … well COVID – we all say “boo” because sweet Steve and Danielle had to reschedule. BUT their little party wasn’t going to stop… they were planning on eloping in the middle of the woods in Wisconsin Rapids, WI on the same day their wedding was supposed to be. I showed up hot and heavy, and was SO stoked to still be shooting their micro wedding! She had a stunning floral arch, the most beautiful ceremony overlooking the lake, PUPPIES, an incredible meal with her closest family and friends and seriously so many more details I still just love to this day. (you can view it here!! )
After that wedding day they decided they were going to be doing a full on wedding in 2021. I was so sad that our only two reschedules were on the exact same day and another bride had just secured July 17th, 2021 a few weeks prior!! The best part of it all though, is I knew our associates, Karen and Alayna would come to the rescue and be able to serve Danielle and Steve and take care of them JUST as much as I would! I am so grateful for these two capturing Danielle’s second perfect day in such an incredible way! We are just so lucky to have these two apart of our team and I am so grateful I was still a part in the pre wedding and post processing activity of the wedding!!!! I kept smiling from EAR to EAR when editing!!! I couldn’t even help myself… so without further talking – Danielle and Steve GOODNESS love you two!! I wish you both nothing but the most incredible journey together!
