Alexis and Matt are MARRIED!!!!
I can’t even believe my September weddings are finished. It’s actually super bittersweet. I have the most incredible brides and each one of them helped me enjoy this busy season so much. This month we shot weddings that were so different from one another. It was SO enjoyable to show up each day and have the mindset of how can we make the most beautiful photos of this day.
I remember when I first scheduled my phone consultation with sweet Alexis. She was finishing up her education down in Atlanta and we talked and I reminisced about living in the south with Chick-Fil-A and all the amazing food places we had down south! We ended up talking for TWO HOURS! These are the calls and consults that I sit there and say to myself, “She is TOTALLY an Ashlea Snell Bride!” She talks so much like me!!! haha!!
We showed up on Saturday to the most beautiful Airbnb in Wausau! I really never even thought of brides getting an Airbnb but it was brilliant. So many incredible pictures places on the property along with so much natural light for getting ready photos! (yes please!!)
Alexis talked to me on the very first phone call about the super fun first look she wanted to do with Matt. He didn’t want to do a first look, but she really wanted to see him prior! Little did he know her incredible plan for him NOT to see her prior to the wedding 🙂
They enjoyed precious time together prior to the ceremony and then she came back upstairs and we got her in her actual wedding attire! After our pre-ceremony photos, we headed to the farm that the wedding would be at! Their families did an absolutely amazing job at creating Alexis’ reception and transforming the tent they rented into a boho reception tent! I just loved all the small details they really put a lot of thought into!
The ceremony went on, and all their family and friends cheered and a few tears were shed. It was such a beautiful ceremony and a perfect day!
Alexis, Matt and to their entire family – thank you for allowing me to document your love for one another and to capture this BEAUTIFUL day!!! I truly adore you two and I can’t wait to see the amazing things you two do together!
